My New Goal
What is our new goal in Christ?
Study
In each verse below, what goal are we given?
Ephesians 5:1
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
1 Corinthians 10:31
Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Luke 19:17
“He said to him, ‘Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’
Our new goal is to...
- Imitate Christ by striving to become more and more like Him. (Eph. 5:1)
- To fulfill the calling given to us to the glory of God. (1 Cor. 10:31)
- To hear the commendation 'well done, good and faithful servant' when we meet God face to face. (Luke 19:17)
Discussion
- How do you see yourself becoming more like Christ as time goes on?
- What is your calling and how are you going to glorify God with it?
- How do you see yourself growing as a good and faithful servant?

Final Thoughts
Christ is our life, our promise, our purpose, our goal...
"Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me."
― Saint Patrick
"Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last."
